Joe + Kim | Wedding

May 6th, 2013
Last year I went to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to visit a friend and participate in his wedding. I have never been to PA before, so the landscaping and scenery that was full of nature was breathtaking! I never knew that Pennsylvania was so beautiful! During my stay I became acquainted with Joe and Kim. Joe is the brother of my friend, and Kim was his sweetheart.

Long story short, I returned to the area and shot their wedding just a few weeks ago. It was awesome being able to come back to Pennsylvania, and even more awesome to get to spend time with Joe and Kim, and getting to know them that much more. The wedding was awesome. They reserved the Landis Valley Museum for the day. It’s like a preserved state of a German/Pennsylvanian crossroad town… really beautiful and rustic. The fellas got ready in the old firehouse, and the wedding was held in the barn. The weather was pretty crazy, though. First it rained, then snowed, then hailed! All within a few hours! Everyone stuck it out and had a blast. I was honored to be part of their celebration, and look forward to another brother of theirs getting married in 2015!

New stuff for 2013!

May 3rd, 2013

Having the new twins around has taken quite a bit of my time, so I haven’t been posting much on here. Frankly, I’ve neglected it completely. It seems that things are finally coming to an order and I’m ready to go for 2013. New photos and films are headed this way! I’ll be posting a wonderful wedding that I shot recently in Pennsylvania pretty soon, and I’m very excited about the upcoming weddings as well.

One of the exciting things that I have recently done is shot my first roll of film! I know, I know… it should be a sin to photograph so many things digital while never have even touched film, but give me a break. I’m learning.

The birth of Sarah and Londyn… my second set of identical twin daughters.

January 20th, 2013

Born Jan 18, 2013. Katie went into labor at 32 weeks. The placenta detached from her uterus, causing an emergency c-section. Londyn is fine, breathing on her own. Sarah is getting help breathing, but only for a couple of days. Both babies are just fine. Londyn: 3.8 lbs, and Sarah: 4.0 lbs. My wife is a trooper.

One of the best days of my life. Period.
